During the long break in leagues caused by the pandemic, players and fans have been starved of competition. No opponents. No one to fight. No one to beat. No one to hate. The great rivalries in sports became even more precious.

But after seeing football championships across the globe restart, the wait is over. It’s finally time to see the Chinese Super League return — and Nike China wanted to celebrate that. To do so, we leveraged the rivalry between Chinese clubs to communicate that even mortal enemies are sometimes happy to see each other.
